Talk about the greatest woman in the world! This little lady makes the world go 'round and shares her life and spirit with so many others, never asking for credit or anything in return. She's one of the silent angels on this earth and graces so many lives with sweet and amazing gestures of love. One program that is near and dear to her heart is Project Linus. Project Linus is a non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:
- It is their mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
- It is their mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
Just wanted to give props to mom for being such a pure inspiration!
